Simple Treasures

Introducing Zalen... Zalen colored this during Bible Time and he told me he saw Mommy, Daddy, Brody, and himself. I wrote on the paper who he said was who. Yep. He got stuck. I told Zalen the story of creation and how God made everything. I asked him to then tell me something God made and he said, "pickles."

Life is a gift Never forget to bask  in every moment you are in. Celebrating 59 years of life surrounded by family. To my beautiful Mother, I love you and Happy Birthday!

I've always wanted to start a garden and have a place to relax, I just haven't had the space or time. I'm glad that I finally got around to putting time aside and working hard to make a mini oasis. I love sitting out on my balcony after the boys are in bed and just listening to the birds sing. As much as I love my boys and husband, I also just enjoy spending time alone enjoying God's beauty and talking to Him too.

Psalms 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord : and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Zalen Update: Zalen loves educational videos (shapes, colors, numbers, alphabet, planets) and just learning in general. He loves building towers, singing, reading, racing cars, and playing with Brody. His favorite book is, The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  His favorite song is "ABC" His favorite color is blue  Brody Update: Brody loves cuddling with Mommy and Daddy. He also loves to talk to whoever will listen. He can roll to his side and loves his tummy rubbed. Brody enjoys Mommy and Daddy singing and reading to him. He loves his older brother and likes it when he gets kisses from him.

Jim and I went to Illinois for Easter. It was a very short trip and we crammed in a lot of activities. I am exhausted but I made a lot of new memories and I can tell Zalen and Brody also made some fun memories too. Happy Easter from my family to yours!!
