Simple Treasures

My beautiful Mom! She tried to smile but due to the stroke she had a few months ago she can't move her left side very well. My Mom is adjusting well to the nursing home and has even made a best friend! Jim and I visit her once a week, sometimes more if we can. She goes to activities and even a Baptist church on Sunday. I love that she is starting to be more positive and make the best out of her situation.

Today is a special day because it's my best friends birthday!    I've known Abby since I was one and have been her friend since. I couldn't ask for a more caring and compassionate friend. She has helped me (with her spunky attitude) become more mature and I will always be thankful for that.

On March 15th Jim and I went out on a date and the next day went out as a family to celebrate his birthday. I love this guy so much! He supports, loves, and is the back bone to our family. I couldn't ask for a better husband or best friend for life!!! Happy Birthday Jim! Love you always!                                                                  Some one is full. Ha!

I hosted two Sweet 16 birthday parties for my sister Evy. One was just with family and close friends and the other one was with school friends. I can't belive my little sister is 16. I am so proud of the young lady she is becoming!
