Simple Treasures

I want to share something that happened to be last night. I was on my way to church and I just thought to myself, "God has a great plan for you. His plan right now may be to be the best Wife and Mom you can be. God has great plans for your family. If you follow Gods plan to be the best Wife and Mom then it makes it easier for your boys to follow Gods plan and do the best they can at whatever the Lord calls them to do." Anyway, I said that to say that I went to church last nig ht and the preachers sermon was on "Gods Plan for You"! He touched on everything I was just thinking to myself about on my drive to church. It was such an awesome feeling to just feel like I'm doing what God wants me to do. I want to keep feeling that. God uses Moms in a great way to train up future leaders of the World. God uses wives to lift up and love their Husbands. Being a Wife and Mom is an important job and it's God's plan for me. 

Dying eggs that is! The Hutchinson family has a few holiday traditions and dying eggs is one of them. This post is super short but I felt I should share this tradition if nothing else so my children can look back at it when they are older.

 I always have fun dressing my boys up and snapping pictures but what parent doesn't?! I would like to say that as much fun as it is to dress up my boys in bunny costumes and pose with eggs I do make sure my boys know the true meaning of Easter. I'm so thankful Christ went to the cross and died for my sins and all of our sins and rose again on the third day! Praise God! The Easter bunny didn't save me, Jesus did! 

Brody is TWO months! Wow, times flies! Brody is a lot more interactive now. He likes to smile, punch at things, talk, and roll to his side from his back. Pretty soon he will be rolling all the way over, crawling, walking, running, driving, off to College...ahhh....I want my baby back! Okay, I got ahead of myself a little bit. Brody is not the only one getting older this month, Jim turned the big two five! Jim can now legally rent a car! Pretty awesome right?! On top of everyone getting older St.Patrick's Day was this month. I am part Irish (My temper part) so I feel like I should celebrate it even though I'm not exactly sure the whole story behind it. Jim and I took some family pictures since we have a new little bundle of joy to add to our picture frames.
