Simple Treasures

Jim's family has a family reunion like my family does every year. Jim's family usually goes camping but because of rain the tents were put away. I love how connected both sides of our families are. Mine and my Husband's families love bonding time and staying in touch with each other. This Summer the families stayed at my In law's house and took advance of the nice size backyard and swing set! We had fun playing outside games, face painting, put puting, playing Bingo, going to the water park, and ending the reunion with an awesome family talent show. This is why I love the summer!  (minus the allergies) I helped the Grandkids make Grandpa Hutchinson a candy bar card for Father's Day. He loved it and the kids had a blast making it!

To my Father, Happy Father's Day to you Dad. We've come a long way and I am so proud of the Father and Grandpa you become. I remember the long walks around our neighborhood and the advise you would give me about staying close to God. I remember when I was going to a vocational school you would walk to the school to make sure I had lunch. (chicken salad and crackers). I remember when I was a young girl you would talk to me about your childhood and your parents, I didn't pay as much attention as I should have, but looking back with my own kids I understand why you told me those stories of your youth and tried so hard to guide me in the right direction the best you knew how. I remember when we were talking over the phone and you told me you were proud of me. I will NEVER forget that. You weren't the perfect parent, but who is. I love you for all the good in you and for the strong desire you had to see your kids grow up following God's will and still have for your Gran

I remember growing up I didn't like sharing a birthday with my twin brother but now I feel blessed. Josh has a wonderful Christian testimony, a God centered family, and I have seen through the years his patience and forgiveness towards me. Josh, you are an amazing brother, husband, and father! I really hope your 30th birthday is a special day and I'm glad I get to share it with you! Love you!   Josh's Family My Family
