39 Weeks

39 weeks and here I am, still pregnant. I thought I would have Zalen earlier because a couple of my other girl friends had their first babies early. It's difficult waiting to greet my baby boy when my other friends have their babies in their arms already. Since my last post I have finished Zalen's nursery area and purchased last minutes items. With the help of family and friends I have managed to pull off the panda bear theme. Lately I have been feeling exhausted with little spurts of energy. My Ob told me at my last appointment that I'm going to have a 8 1/2 to 9 pound baby! No wonder I'm so tired all the time! I'm so thankful for epidurals ha. I'm hoping this is my last post before Zalen is born. These last few weeks have been the hardest for me and I am so excited to meet my baby and hold him in my arms.

So, our story starts December, 2010 on a winter night. I was talking to mutual friend of ours via Skype. We caught up on news and then she brought up this guy's name..Jim. She said he was an great guy and that he holds the same beliefs as I do. I could tell she was trying to play match maker..so I just played along for fun. Unfortunately I did not set a good impression the first time I met Jim. Everyone in the world wanted to call, text, or chat online. Jim tried hard to keep the conversation going but I would have to excuse the conversation to take a phone call or text. Looking back now I realized how patient he was with me. Fortunately after that night he wanted to continue to keep in touch with me so we would Skype, text, or chat on Facebook. A few weeks of texting constantly (no exaggeration), skyping, and talking over the phone, Jim decides our friendship is ready for a new chapter and asks me as romantically as he can to be his girlfriend. I LOVE photography! I did some photo shoots for weddings and graduation to help pay for my first year of College. I don't have any school education for taking pictures but I have years of experience. I mainly like doing landscape and portrait. The down side to me loving photography so much is that I can be picky when it comes to me having my picture taken. My husband is a professional photographer and takes school pictures. We own a simple Cannon camera but I can edit pictures I take to look a little more professional. Here are some of my pictures.
