Two Already?!

Yes you heard me right, Zalen is officially two! Wow, where has time gone? Zalen loves so many educational things like shapes, numbers, and colors. He also loves anything that has to do with cars. I feel like my baby isn't a baby anymore and I don't know how thrilled I am that he has reached the "terrible twos" Ha! I didn't take as many pictures this birthday as I did for his first but I had fun watching him open presents and play with his balloons. I love my little Z-Man and maybe time will slow down a little more until his next birthday. 
Opening presents from Grandma and Grandpa Hutchinson and a card from Mommy and Daddy. Also, I attempted to make a car cake. It looked easy on Pinterest.

So, our story starts December, 2010 on a winter night. I was talking to mutual friend of ours via Skype. We caught up on news and then she brought up this guy's name..Jim. She said he was an great guy and that he holds the same beliefs as I do. I could tell she was trying to play match maker..so I just played along for fun. Unfortunately I did not set a good impression the first time I met Jim. Everyone in the world wanted to call, text, or chat online. Jim tried hard to keep the conversation going but I would have to excuse the conversation to take a phone call or text. Looking back now I realized how patient he was with me. Fortunately after that night he wanted to continue to keep in touch with me so we would Skype, text, or chat on Facebook. A few weeks of texting constantly (no exaggeration), skyping, and talking over the phone, Jim decides our friendship is ready for a new chapter and asks me as romantically as he can to be his girlfriend. I LOVE photography! I did some photo shoots for weddings and graduation to help pay for my first year of College. I don't have any school education for taking pictures but I have years of experience. I mainly like doing landscape and portrait. The down side to me loving photography so much is that I can be picky when it comes to me having my picture taken. My husband is a professional photographer and takes school pictures. We own a simple Cannon camera but I can edit pictures I take to look a little more professional. Here are some of my pictures.
